Since Luigi started his shop in the spring of 2023, it has undergone many changes. He built most of the shop with wood from Eurydice's strike at UB since the wood was going to be disposed of.
One feature of the shop is that an electric winch can lift the 4'x8' assembly table into the air, allowing the table saw to be stored underneath it, saving space.

Building his bed was his first-ever woodworking project. It was made from White Oak and pallet wood on the headboard, White Oak and Sapele on the footboard, and the stringers were made of White Oak. He learned many things that he carried to his next builds. Luigi also made custom panel clamps to make glue-ups easier.
Desk #1 This was Luigi's first attempt at making a desk. It is made from Spalted Maple. Something he learned from this desk was to get much thicker stock than the desired final thickness and to ensure that the boards were not severely warped. He bought the wood because he got a good deal on it without realizing how much work it would take and how much thickness would be lost trying to flatten the boards. The finished thickness ended at 5/8". Luigi is now converting this desktop into a living room "media console" to hold his record player, audio equipment, TV, 3D printer, his roommate's 3D printer, and all their 3D printing filament. The desk is roughly 3' by 7'.

Luigi built this desk after buying a 12-inch joiner. The desk is made of Hard Maple, although a spare board of the Spalted Maple from his first desk was added as an homage to the first. The final thickness of this desk is a little under 1-1/4". He also took this opportunity to teach his roommate woodworking by helping make his own similarly sized desk.
